With 16 years of experience in cosmetic injectables, my journey began with 10 years in plastic and reconstructive surgery. throughout this time, I attended countless continuing education courses and in-clinic sessions with various physicians and surgeons focusing on advanced techniques and gaining valuable hands-on experience. This dedication to learning led me to train numerous professionals, including Registered Nurses, MDs, PAs, and Nurse Practitioners, sharing my knowledge and helping them develop their skills.
My training path also included participation in programs from industry leaders like Allergan and Galderma, attending both annual and specialized trainings each year. After becoming a National Trainer for Allergan, I gained access to cutting-edge techniques and expertise in complication management, which has been integral to refining my approach. But even with all this education, I believe that nothing beats real-world experience. Seeing 15-25 patients per day in clinic for over 16 years has allowed me to perfect my craft and understand facial differences, ensuring the best possible outcomes for each patient.
As a trainer, I work with professionals across the country, teaching on both FDA-approved treatments and off-label techniques, focusing on Botox and dermal fillers. I conduct training sessions in my clinic and at other clinics, typically on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and occasionally Mondays and Fridays. Continuing education is a cornerstone of my practice, and for 16 years, I’ve committed to regularly updating my knowledge and skills to stay on top of the latest industry trends.
The importance of education and mentorship in this field is personal for me. When I started out as a new injector, finding reliable education and support was a challenge. I’m passionate about teaching and sharing the anatomy and physiology knowledge that wasn’t as readily available when I first began my career. Above all, I strongly believe in the principle of “first, do no harm.” Understanding anatomy, vascularity, and safety is crucial for becoming a skilled and responsible injector.
Being a National Trainer for Allergan has been a rewarding experience, as it allows me to reach a broader audience, share the latest research, and ensure that training is based on the most up-to-date, FDA-approved information. With 12 years of training experience under my belt, I remain deeply committed to fostering a culture of learning and safety in the aesthetic industry.

On-Label and Off-Label Training

On-Label Training
On-Label Training refers to treatments that are FDA-approved and officially recognized under the Allergan Medical Institute’s training programs. This includes Botox injections for glabellar (frown) lines, frontalis (forehead) lines, crow’s feet, and platysmal bands, as well as dermal fillers for areas like the cheeks, jawline, chin, temples, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and infraorbital hollows. These treatments follow strict guidelines for approved dosing and injection sites.
Off-Label Training
Off-Label Training expands beyond FDA-approved indications, allowing injectors to refine their expertise with additional techniques and products. This includes treatments for areas like the depressor anguli oris (DAO) and nasalis muscles, as well as the use of non-Allergan products, such as Restylane, which has fewer FDA-approved applications. Off-Label Training also covers advanced injection points, alternative dosing strategies, and customized approaches based on patient needs.
